Pre-Nursing: Gary Elementary Career Day
Join NAHN-Illinois in inspiring the next generation of future healthcare leaders! We are seeking nurses and nursing students to volunteer at an exciting Career Day at Gary Elementary School in the Little Village community. This is a meaningful opportunity to give back, represent the nursing profession, and spark curiosity in young students as they begin to explore careers and dream about their futures.
What You’ll Do:
- Engage with elementary school students about careers in nursing and healthcare
- Share your personal journey and experiences
- Answer questions and inspire curiosity about the profession
- Serve as a positive role model in the community
