Site: Advocate Children’s Hospital – Park Ridge 

Location: Park Ridge, IL (Relocation assistance can be provided) 

Schedule: Full-time, Days

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:  

You will assist the Clinical Manager in providing administrative and clinical leadership and serve as a unit  leader and clinical nurse resource. Help plan coordinate and manage personnel and resources to provide  the highest quality patient care with trained professional and competent staff in the most cost-effective  manner. Provide for the ongoing educational and professional development of staff. In conjunction with  

the Manager, you will collaborate with physicians and other health care disciplines to assure optimal  patient care. 

Accountabilities:

Performance of the principle duties and responsibilities of the RN position and serves as a role model for  professional practice. 

In collaboration with the clinical Director manages patient care delivery to optimize patient outcomes  customer satisfaction and resource management. 

Promotion and support of an environment that is conducive to staff growth and development and  autonomy. 

Participates in developing the strategic plan direction for the unit and utilizes CQI techniques in  collaboration with the Clinical Manager 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED 

Education/Experience Required:  

Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) required  

3-4 years clinical experience in pediatric ER setting 

Leadership experience as a charge nurse 

Licensure: Current RN licensure in Illinois. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: 

Ability to communicate effectively and work cohesively with a diverse work group. 

Utilization of critical thinking in timely decision making.
