Home Care Aide Supervisors directly supervise a group of Home care Aides and

are responsible for all aspects of supervision of assigned workers including:

• Receiving and transferring new referrals to the intake coordinator for processing

• Make in-home visits (initial and every 6 months)

• Scheduling, including arranging substitute coverage as needed

• Documenting all conversations regarding services in MOPD's ECM system

• Communicating with clients and workers regarding any service issues/ scheduling/

complaints

• Respond and document reported problems in a timely fashion

• Keeping track of service hours on a bi-weekly basis and ensuring that workers do

not go over the maximum weekly hours

• Ensuring maintenance of all required program and employee-related

documentation and maintenance of required client and employee confidentiality

• Obtain all Monthly Reports from the workers and verify that signatures match the

service dates. Reports are reviewed with MOPD

• Preparing for the Quarterly HUD Report and Annual Audits · Attend MOPD

quarterly site visits

• Preparing and submitting monthly client hours for billing · Attend in-service

training as assigned as assisting in training presentations as requested

• Attending in-service training as assigned and assisting in training presentations as

requested

• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation

• Home Care Supervisor Experience preferred

• Knowledge of social services and medical terminology.

• Experience working with the MOPD program is preferred

• Effective written and oral communication skills, suitable for memos, report writing,

incident, general case documentation, and worker performance and disciplinary

documentation.

• Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

• Ability to work within a multi-phased, fast-paced work environment

• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus
